ABOUT ME

As a pluralistic therapist, I am committed to ensure that your therapy sessions are co-constructed to meet your individual therapeutic needs. Benefitting from shared-decision making, a focus on therapeutic direction as well as empathy, support, compassion and attention, you can expect a uniquely inclusive and collaborative therapeutic experience.

I work 'pluralistically', which means that I hold multiple therapeutic perspectives and can integrate these within a therapeutic framework to meet your needs. It's important to me that the therapy offered is tailored to the person rather than the person having to adjust themselves to receive therapy. Different therapeutic approaches may include: Humanistic approaches e.g. Person-Centred Therapy, Existential Therapy, Multicultural Therapy, Transactional Analysis and Solution-Focused Therapy; Psychodynamic approaches, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches including Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Compassion Therapy, as well as Creative Approaches. More on Pluralism can be read in FAQs.

I am an LGBTQ+ affirmative, Trans Healthcare informed, trauma informed and neurodivergent inclusive counsellor.
