Zoe Powell Martin, MSc MBACP
Counsellor, Psychotherapist & Supervisor
Welcome!
I'm Zoe, an experienced and registered therapist currently offering online counselling and psychotherapy. I offer both general counselling as well as specialised counselling for those seeking LGBTQ+ Counselling or College/University Counselling. Additionally, I provide clinical supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists, and those in training.

In therapy, you can expect a genuine, warm, safe and nurturing space for you to be supported on your therapeutic journey. It's important to me that you are able to get what you're looking for from therapy, as well as be where you want to be in your self, with others and in your life. I also believe that cost shouldn't stop anyone from seeking support, which is why I offer affordable sessions as well as discounted spaces.
If you're wondering whether counselling, psychotherapy or supervision is right for you, I’m more than happy to answer any questions you might have. Feel free to contact me here with any queries.

ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
As a pluralistic therapist, I am committed to ensure that your therapy sessions are co-constructed to meet your individual therapeutic needs. Benefitting from shared-decision making, a focus on therapeutic direction as well as empathy, support, compassion and attention, you can expect a uniquely inclusive and collaborative therapeutic experience.
I work 'pluralistically', which means that I hold multiple therapeutic perspectives and can integrate these within a therapeutic framework to meet your needs. It's important to me that the therapy offered is tailored to the person rather than the person having to adjust themselves to receive therapy. Different therapeutic approaches may include: Humanistic approaches e.g. Person-Centred Therapy, Existential Therapy, Multicultural Therapy, Transactional Analysis and Solution-Focused Therapy; Psychodynamic approaches, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches including Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Compassion Therapy, as well as Creative Approaches. More on Pluralism can be read in FAQs.

I am an LGBTQ+ affirmative, Trans Healthcare informed, trauma informed and neurodivergent inclusive counsellor.
I have experience working with a broad range of mental health issues, long-term health care issues, and issues due to difficult life events or circumstances.
