Outdoor Counselling
For Devon, UK clients only
Outdoor counselling, also referred to as "Walk & Talk Therapy," "Wild Therapy," or "Eco-Therapy," is a form of counselling or psychotherapy held outside the traditional therapy room. It can be useful for people who find sitting still uncomfortable, experience feelings of being "stuck" or "institutionalised," or for those who simply appreciate spending time in nature.
Sessions last a full hour and are structured within a pluralistic framework that highlights the importance of creating a warm, nurturing, and supportive therapeutic space. Before starting outdoor therapy, a risk assessment to ensure the most accessible route will be discussed. All routes are considered for confidentiality, safety and privacy.
I charge £45 per session, which can be paid by bank transfer in advance of the session. There are also sessions available at a reduced cost if you are unable to pay the full amount. It's important to me that cost wouldn't stop anyone from seeking support.
